How the Path to Attunement sets you up for lasting change
❋ The group setting keeps you accountable.
❋ Creating new habits takes time, 8 weeks is long enough to make breathwork a part of your daily routine.
❋ Teaching you how to use your breath to bring you back to balance means you won’t constantly need to outsource, looking outside of yourself in order to feel good. You won’t need to take a break from your life, trying to escape. You’ll have the tools to make your day-to-day manageable and enjoyable.
❋ I am trained in a trauma-informed approach to breathwork (Pause Breathwork), ensuring your experience unfolds in safety, every step of the way.
About Your Facilitator, Bénédicte Lauzière
I spent most of my life playing the violin. Growing up, I loved the stage, and I dedicated countless hours practicing so that I could enjoy those precious minutes in the spotlight. On stage, I achieved flow state. This made me want to get back there as much as I possibly could. If you’ve experienced flow, you know it’s an amazing feeling. It’s a high I chased (and still do). I attended prestigious universities in a never ending quest for perfection. During my last year of my Master’s degree at Juilliard, I thought it would be fun to try an orchestra audition (young people…!). I won the job and started as Concertmaster fresh out of school.
What nobody tells you about that kind of discipline is how quietly it can hollow you out. It’s very sneaky. You rationalize the pressure and stress as the tradeoff for getting to step out on stage. No need to have a violin career, we all do this in our lives. Trade small parts of ourselves to make ourselves fit.
There was no single event I could point to afterward and say, that was the moment. It happened in increments so small I never saw them add up. A held breath here, a swallowed reaction there, words that were never spoken, years of performing steadiness while everything underneath went unregulated, building up. By the time I was forced to notice, I didn't know how to come down. I'd spent my whole life learning to control. I didn’t know how to release. I felt like a stranger in my own body.
Breathwork found me almost by accident, at a breaking point that forced me to stop and take a closer look inside, beyond the polished facade. Learning to breathe with intention, and to trust what came up when I did, gave me back something my career had quietly asked me to give away: a healthy relationship with my own body. Not performance. Not control. Just connection.
That's what I want to share with the people who come on The Path to Attunement. Not just technique, though you'll leave with several, but the experience of being with yourself without needing to manage the impression you're making. I know what it is to hold it together in front of people for a living. I also know what it costs, and what it takes to build something more sustainable underneath it.
Eight weeks won't undo years of holding. But it's enough to start. Enough to feel, maybe for the first time in a long time, what it's like to come down on purpose instead of by collapse or outburst. To be present and have purpose. To be at ease.
