Attuned:

Come back to yourself

A breath-based approach to nervous system regulation.

Just as a musician tunes their instrument before performing, we can learn to tune our nervous system so we can meet life with clarity and presence.

The intention here is to first get the body from an activated (stress) state to a safe relaxed state, then gradually activating focus.

I spent years performing as a professional violinist after studying at Juilliard. I was getting crushed by chronic stress yet in denial about the sneaky impacts it was having on my life, my health, both mental and physical, my relationships, and my creativity. Musicians don’t complain about stress, we simply assume that it’s part of the job.

Over time, I began exploring how my breath has the power to bring me back to myself, my body has the power to heal itself. I am in the process of becoming a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator at Pause. Those same principles that I am applying to music performance can help anyone navigate stress and many more emotions with more clarity and resilience. Sessions are free right now as they go towards my Pause Trauma-Informed breathwork facilitator certification.
